Founded in 1934 and managed by Romain Guiberteau since 1996, this estate expresses all the quintessence of the great clay-limestone terroirs of Saumur.

The 17 hectares of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc cultivated organically since 2003 are located on the best vineyards of Brézé, Bizay, Chacé, Montreuil Bellay and Saint-Just-sur-Dive. The great white wines of Romain, from the Brézé hill, an illustrious Chenin terroir, play in a register of great freshness with saline finishes with a strong mineral impression. The reds, for their part, are matured for a long time in order to refine the textures, which allows them to age well and underlines their complexity.

Romain is a dynamic winemaker, strict on the quality of his wines and is an ambassador of the great wines of Saumur.
